DigitalSports & LeagueMinder Feature Updates

DigitalSports and LeagueMinder Feature Updates in 2011-12 School Year:
  • Multi-team Scoring: When creating a game with more than two teams, LeagueMinder will create a score entry option for each head to head match up. Either a Chairperson or the host School can enter scores for all the teams.  As a visiting school you can enter a score for each of your Games.
  • Invitational Scoring:  For Cross-Country, Swimming, Track and Field, and Golf you can select “Invitational” when creating the game event.  When this is selected you will be able to enter a single score for each team in the event.  This is a great feature for your Team championships.
  • Updated Auto-Generate Feature to better balance Home and Away schedules for each individual school.
  • Added a Levels tab to the Game Scheduling feature that will allow you to create duplicate events for other available levels.  When scheduling a varsity game you can check that you would like to create JV and freshmen events as well.
  • A teams default facility will auto populate when: creating a game, importing a schedule, copying a schedule, or using the new Levels tab.
  • Added import features for Facilities, Opponents, and Tournament Events.
  • Excel reports in LeagueMinder will now have header information at the top of the report.
  • The Awards report now lets you select multiple years so you can see a history of the awards that were given.
  • DigitalSports Admins can upload their own school banners to the site.  Great opportunity for a graphic design contest at your school.
Since the end of last school year the follow groups of schools have joined or returned to the DigitalSports Community:
  • MIAA: Memphis City High schools and Middle Schools - Tennessee
  • NHADA: New Hampshire Athletic Directors Association
  • Baltimore County Schools - Maryland
  • SMAA – Maine
  • 15 Schools of the PVIAC – Massachusetts
  • 11 Schools of the NOC - Ohio
