49ers look to high school selves for motivation

In preparation for their 2013 NFL playoff run, San Francisco 49ers head coach, Jim Harbaugh, wanted to give his players the motivation they needed to make a great Super Bowl run. He did just that during wild-card weekend by bringing the players back to a time when they finally realized what they wanted to do with their lives - high school. Harbaugh placed laminated sheets of each player's picture from when they were in high school along with their scouting rank on their locker. The Goal: Remind every player who they were when they were younger and how they got to where they are now. Now that is motivation. You find the original article here.
