Intern Mission: "We've got spirit, yes we do!"
(Due Date: Saturday, 5/10/14)
For our next DigitalSports Internship Mission, we are asking student journalists/photojournalists to define school spirit through words and photos.
Journalists/Photojournalists:
School spirit is prominent in high school communities all over the nation. Tell us your definition of school spirit and what it means to you and your school community members in a post on your DigitalSports site. Accompany the post with a photo or video. Some things to consider:
  • Does your school have a motto, slogan or spirit statement?
  • What kind of spirit activities does the school participate in?
  • Take photos and/or videos of spirit cheers, pep rallies, fans with face paint, theme days, etc.
  • How much does school spirit motivate students/athletes?
  • Get quotes from any community member (parents, teachers, students, etc.) about their thoughts on the importance of school spirit.

**Post all articles and media to the DigitalSports high school site you registered for**
