In case you missed the live stream on DigitalSports yesterday, Austrian skydiver and BASE jumper Felix Baumgartner became the first person in history to jump from a height of 22 miles. Baumgartner broke the record of U.S. Air Force Captain Joseph Kittinger who jumped from 102,800 feet in 1960.
The ascension lasted just over two and a half hours, while the jump took less than 10 minutes, which included over four minutes of free fall! Baumgartner also broke the sound barrier in the process.
