High school basketball star scores in own net as buzzer sounds, costs team game

The game was in the bag. Hugo High School (Oklahoma) basketball star, Trey Johnson, just needed to run out the clock to give his team the upset over Millwood High. What happened next was unthinkable: While this was clearly an embarrassing moment for the young man, it's important to remember that nerves can even get to the best of us. Johnson will recover and become stronger from this experience. In a nice gesture from the Oklahoma Thunder organization, Johnson was their special guest in their game against the Boston Celtics.
