Garden City High School Celebrates College Commitment Ceremony

Garden City, NY — November 12, 2024 Garden City High School proudly hosted its annual College Commitment Ceremony on Tuesday, November 12, recognizing 22 outstanding student-athletes from the Class of 2025. Surrounded by supportive staff, coaches, family, and friends, these students celebrated their hard work and dedication as they committed to play their respective sports at the collegiate level. In a heartwarming ceremony held in the school’s gymnasium, each student was introduced and applauded for their accomplishments both on and off the field. Garden City’s Athletic Director, Ed Ramirez, reminded students that their commitment was a checkpoint and not the end point. He urged them to continue on their path, working hard and staying focused. He congratulated the students on achieving such an impressive milestone.
