Lake Orion High School Athletes Sign College Commitments

LAKE ORION, MI- Eight athletes from Lake Orion High School made their futures evident last week, as they officially signed letters of intent or celebrated their commitment to attend colleges across the country for their sport. Feb. 4th marked the first day that high school seniors could sign scholarship papers for the following sports: Football, Men and Women's Soccer, Water polo (Mens' only), and more. The letter of intent is a binding agreement between the student-athlete and a college, by which the student-athlete agrees to attend the college for one academic year. The following student athletes have made a commitment to compete in athletics at the collegiate level: Jason Inglis – will be attending Albion College to play Mens’ Soccer Madison Ham – will be attending Grand Valley State to play Womens’ Soccer Marisa Engel – will be attending Western Illinois to play Womens’ Soccer Richard Doll – will be attending Indiana Tech to play Mens’ Soccer Zach Serzo – will be attending Lake Erie College to play Football Matt Krause – will be attending Central Michigan to play Football Hannah Cady - will be attending Western Kentucky to play Womens’ Soccer Tori Basso – will be attending Alma College to play Golf and Lacrosse   Congratulations to all the athletes on continuing your academic and collegiate careers at the next level.  All of us at DigitalSports wish you luck!
